Joan A. Salladay (nee Tecklenburg), age 68; passed away July 22, 2005 at her residence. She was born May 18, 1937 in Renovo, PA, the daughter of William A. and Marguerite E. (Feehrer) Tecklenburg. As a devoted Christian, Joan was most recently a member of the Fairfield West Baptist Church.

She was a teacher for the majority of her life and she was a veteran, having served in the US Navy. Although Joan loved to shop, travel, and read books, her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Deanna (David) Lampert, Denis (Peggy) Clay, Devra Rochelle, and Darcy (Rafael) Rabinovich; sister, Kay Carol Tecklenburg; brother, Dean Wm. (Billie Jean) Tecklenburg; grandchildren, Duncan Billingsley, Matthew Lampert, Sarah Lampert, Morgan Billingsley, Joshua Lampert, Yaakov Yehuda Rabinovich, Amy Whetstone, Daniel Betsch, Julie Betsch, Jonathon Witte, and Lisa Witte; and great-grandchildren, Malia and Kallie Forte. Joan was preceded in death by her parents.
