Joann Mcwhorter

Lovingly known as "Aunt Jo", Age 55 of Fairfield, Ohio went home to be with our Lord at 1:38pm on Thursday June 11, 2009. Jo Ann was born on May 9, 1954 in Manchester, KY, the daughter of Granville (Bub) McWhorter and Mallie (Davidson) Hensley.
She is survived by her parents; ex husband, Randy Hymer; step father, Fred Hensley; sister, Brenda Ponder (Wendell) Hodges; her brothers, Jeff (Lisa) McWhorter, Bill McWhorter; nieces, Taya, Hannah; nephews, Jason, Charlie, Josh, and Tanner; numerous great nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends all of whom she loved with a great passion. Her greatest love of all was her poodle Max. JoAnn will be greatly missed by all her friends that she was so blessed to become associated with during her life as a realtor in this area, currently with Coyt Rains Realty.
Funeral services will be held Monday evening June 15, 2009 at 7pm at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd. Fairfield ,Ohio 45014 with Dr. Harold Brown and Scott Swelbar officiating. Visitation will be Monday 5pm until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, Blue Ash, Ohio, for whom the family extends their special thanks.
