Joe Elton Culpepper

Joe Elton Culpepper, age 70 of Fairfield, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2013; He was born June 9, 1943 in Hattiesburg, MS to the late Marion and Maurice Culpepper. On June 5, 1982 in Seneca, SC Joe married his wife Ruth Culpepper (Treece). Joe loved softball, so much that he played until the age of 68. He was also a certified celebrant, a Navy veteran and a retired engineer.
He is survived by his wife Ruth Culpepper; his children April Culpepper of Lisle, IL, Captain Casey Culpepper of Vacaville, CA and Parrish Culpepper of San Antonio, TX; one grandchild, Addison Culpepper; his brothers Wayne and Gene Culpepper; also survived by numerous friends and family; He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister in law Josie Culpepper.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 20, 2013 at 3PM at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield 45014 with a visitation prior to service beginning at 1PM.
