BEARD
John Raymond, age 83, passed away on September 13, 2012. John was born on May 15, 1929 in Washington County, MD to Jesse and Genevieve (nee Hanna) Beard. He is the beloved husband of Kay (nee Maden); devoted father of John W. (Brenda) Beard and Lori K. (Marty) Pushkar; loving grandfather of Emily Beard, Andrea Beard, and Brad Pushkar; dear brother of Zella Shank.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Genevieve (nee Hanna) Beard; brother, James W. Beard; brother in law, Hillard Shank.
John served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict; he worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber for 35 years.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 9-10 a.m. at Forest Chapel United Methodist Church, 680 West Sharon Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45240. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. at the church with Rev. Samuel Stover officiating. Burial will follow with full military honors at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason, OH.
