John Robert Jr. – age 89 of Fairfield, went to be with the Lord on Oct. 31, 2014. He was a resident at Sterling House of Newark, Ohio. He was born Oct. 26, 1925 in Portsmouth, Ohio, son to the late John R. Lyons Sr. and Sarah (Morrow) Lyons. John is survived by his wife, Mary, of 68 years; daughter Roxanna (Carl) Young; grandchildren Cassandra (Christopher) Young-Paxton, Alan (Tonya) D. Lyons Jr., Alanna Lyons and Jonathon Lyons; step-grandchildren Michael, Jack, Duane, Rick, Sean Young and Debra Fowler; great-grandchildren Dylan Young, Isabella Paxton and Jacob Lyons; sister Donna Whitt and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings Clyde and Bonnie and his son Alan D. Lyons Sr. Memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Central Ohio.
