Age 64 of West Chester passed away Sunday, May 18 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. He was born February 14, 1944 in Monroe, LA, the son of John E. and Mary Loraine (Anneken) Popp. On July 31, 1965 John married Linda Holley in Covington, KY.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Popp; mother, Loraine Popp; children, John C. (Norma) Popp and Andrew J. Popp; daughter-in-law, Regina Popp; grandchildren, Jacob and Rachel Popp; and sister, Janice Popp. John was preceded in death by his father, John E. Popp; and beloved son, Mark Popp.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. - until time of service (12 noon), Thursday, May 22, 2008 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Also, the family will accept condolences at www.avancefuneralhome.com
