John L. Salsinger

SALSINGER John “Jack” L. – age 83 of Fairfield passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018.  He was born December 3, 1934 in Sidney, Ohio to the late E. John and Ruth Salsinger.  On March 23, 1956 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida Jack married his wife Shirley Salsinger (nee Drake) who preceded him in death in 2016.  Jack attended Ohio State and served in the military as a medic.  Prior to retirement, Jack was the credit manager at Buddy Rogers Music.  He enjoyed music and sports and was an avid golfer.  He also enjoyed getting together with friends at the Fairfield Community Center.  Jack is survived by his sons Michael (Shawn) Salsinger and Scott Salsinger; granddaughters Casey (Kevin) Lester and Nichole (Brad) Hoffmeister;  great-grandchildren Kaitlyn, Lilli, William and Avery.  Also survived by niece Brandy (Mike Alrey) Stone and many friends.  Jack is preceded in death by his sister Barbara Stone and brother-in-law Norm Drake.  Services are private and at the convenience of the family.  Memorial contributions may be sent to the Fairfield Community Center.  Online condolences may be left for the family by visiting www.avancefuneralhome.com
