John "Johnny" Vince Bonner

John (Johnny) Vince Bonner, age 65 of Fairfield, passed away on Thursday, June 27th, 2024. He was born on March 5th, 1959 to Patricia (Hensley) Perez and Herbert R. Bonner in Cook County, Illinois. He graduated from Williamsburg High School in 1977 and served in the U.S. Air Force. On February 23rd, 1985, he married the love of his life, Beth (Hicks) Bonner in Pensacola, Florida.

John was known for his sense of humor. He was a storyteller and would always captivate the ears of whoever would listen. He loved to cook. His family often joked that he should open his own restaurant. He was quite the handy man and loved to tinker in the garage and work on projects at home. He showed his love by fixing things and making people laugh.

In addition to his wife of 39 years, he is survived by his children: Bryan Bonner, Olivia (Anthony) Baker, and Josh (Chelsea) Bonner, his grandchildren: Brenden, Brooklyn, and Jacob, his siblings: Debbie Myers, Michelle (Doug) Arkin, Brenda (Ronnie) Palmer, Tony (Shelly) Perez, Gary Perez and Sandy Morgan.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Billy Wayne Bonner.

Visitation will be 9:30 AM – until time of Funeral service (11 AM) on Wednesday July 3, 2024, at Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH   45014 with Pastor Dorrien Hinsey officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery in St Clair Township, Ohio.
