Joseph D., "Joe" age 64 of Hamilton passed away on August 20, 2012 at Mercy Fairfield. Joe was born on March 21, 1948 in Brookline, MA to Donnie and Teresa (nee McCarthy) Briggs.
He leaves to his memory his daughter, Katie Selby; grandson, Finnigan; siblings, Dennis (Lynne) Briggs, Donald (Mary Jo) Briggs, and Kathy (Gary) Metcalf. Joe is also survived by his sister in law Judy Briggs; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In previous years, he was employed as an Information Technologist and currently was employed by Kroger.
He was preceded in death by his son Mark Paul Selby and his brother Charles Briggs.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
