Joseph Lee Conner

May 31, 1964 — July 29, 2005

Joseph Lee Conner was the fourth child born May 31, 1964 to the late Pearl Lee and Mattie Conner of Sawyerville, AL. He departed this life on July 29, 2005 at Manor Care of Woodridge in Fairfield.

He confessed Christ as his Savior and was baptized at Christ Temple C.O.G.I.C. He rededicated his life and attended service at Community Friendship C.O.G.I.C when he was able.

Joseph attended Central High School in Tuscaloosa, AL. He was formerly employed at Tucker Motor Co., Pecos Foods, and Hicks Plumbing in Tuscaloosa. He came to Hamilton in 1998. He never met a stranger. His out going, friendly personality, and the gift of gab allowed him to befriend may people. Joseph was a hard worker whenever he was given something to do. He had the ability to draw any object or portrait just from a glance. His artistic abilities and friendly personality will be greatly missed.

He leaves to cherish his memory, 3 sons Joseph Dewayne, Anthony VaShae (Michelle) and Ricky Prince of Tuscaloosa, AL; 6 grandchildren: Raeven Elicia, Jayden Javar, Dylan Shamar, Kontrell, Antionna Elice, Altavian Terek, all of Tuscaloosa; 3 brothers, Limmie P. (Linda Dates) Parker of Sawyerville, AL, Pearl Lee (Michelle) Conner, Jr. of Hamilton, Sylvester (O'Neice) Conner of Tuscaloosa; 5 aunts; 1 uncle; nieces; nephews; and a host of cousins and friends.

The family would like to extend special recognition to Manor Care of

Woodridge in Fairfield and to his roommate Tom.

The family will receive friends from 9a.m. - until time of service at 10 a.m. Saturday August 6, 2005 at the Community Friendship Church, 2101 Pleasant Ave., Hamilton, OH 45015 with Supt. B.A. Curtis, Pastor officiating. Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, Fairfield.
