Joseph Austin – age 76 of Fairfield passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2015.  He was born August 21, 1938 in Chicago, IL to the late Austin and Bridget O’Grady.  On March 30, 1968 he married his wife of 47 years, Eileen O’Grady (nee Basine).  Joseph was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church and was actively involved for over 20 years as a coach for special needs children in both golf and basketball and therapeutic recreational softball.   He is survived by his wife Eileen; their children Ami O’Grady and Shawn (Heather) O’Grady; Brothers Patrick (Lynne) O’Grady and Michael (Jane) O’Grady and sisters Mary (Don) Beatty and Josephine (Jim) McMullen; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 2-5PM at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, 45014.  Mass of Christian Burial will held on Monday morning, June 15, 201 5 at 11AM at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 12191 Mill Rd., Cinti.,45240 with visitation from 10AM until time of service.  Memorial contributions may be sent to Therapeutic Recreation for the Disabled, 282 North Fair Avenue, Hamilton, OH 45011 or the Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields, P.O.
