Julia Iris Castañeda, 88, of Naguabo, Puerto Rico, passed away on May 4, 2026, in Liberty Township, Ohio.
Julia was a gifted and creative woman with talents in drawing, crocheting, and sewing, often recreating designs she admired. She loved flowers and plants and was known for her beauty, vibrant personality, and generous heart.
Julia was preceded in death by her son, Axel, and all of her siblings.
Julia is survived by her daughters, Elaine and Julia Iris; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Julia will be cremated, and her ashes will be transported to her beloved Puerto Rico, where a Mass will be held in her honor. She will be laid to rest beside her son, Axel (Cubi).
May she rest in eternal peace in the presence of God, and may her memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
