Julia Reddy

Julia Reddy, age 77 of Fairfield passed away Thursday November 17, 2005 at Grandview Hospital in Dayton. She was born May 18, 1928 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of C. E. and Julia (Carrigan) McMonigle. On April 21, 1951, Julia married James J. Reddy in Philadelphia, PA. She worked as a Registered Nurse, night supervisor at Mercy of Hamilton, before retiring in May of 1993. Julia was also a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fairfield.
She is survived by her husband, James J. Reddy of Fairfield; son, James E. (Patricia) Reddy of Fairfield; daughters, Julia (James) Pillsbury, D.O. of Dover, DE, Mary Alice (Roger) Scott of Highland Heights, KY Anne Reddy, M.D. of Dayton, OH and Barbara Rowsey of Dayton, OH; brothers, Thomas McMonigle of Haverford, PA and Joseph McMonigle of Wildwood, PA; 11 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. Julia was preceded in death by parents; 2 brothers, Edward and John; 2 sons, Paul and Michael; and great-grandson, David Elijah.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday November 22, 2005 at Sacred Heart Church, 400 Nilles Rd., Fairfield, OH with Father Norman Langenbrunner, Celebrant. Entombment will follow at St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday November 21 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield.
