Kamala "Kammy" S. Johnson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved and beautiful Kamala “Kammy” Johnson (Griessmann), who left us to be with her savior on Thursday March 5th, 2026, at the age of 58. Kammy was a cherished Mother, Wife, Grandmother and friend, whose kindness, warmth, and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her.

Born on August 10th, 1967, in Hamilton, Ohio, Kammy lived a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to family and friends. She will be remembered for her unwavering support, gentle spirit, and the joy she brought to every moment.

Kammy graduated from Fairfield High School in 1985. She served 30 years as a Deputy Clerk in the Butler County Clerk of Courts offices in Hamilton.

Kammy is survived by Husband: James Anthony Johnson, Son: Blayton “Blake” Paul Spradling, Stepdaughter: Lauren Lynn Johnson (Bowden); Sister: Krista Mairee Schappacher (Wayne); Mother: Linda Griessmann; and Father: Gary Griessmann. She additionally leaves behind Nephew: Gavin, Niece: Gabrielle, Granddaughter: Makenna and Grandson: Lucas “Beau”. She will be dearly missed and forever cherished in our hearts.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday March 21st at Avance Funeral Home, 4976 Winton Road, Fairfield, Ohio. Visitation begins at 2:00PM, service to immediately follow (4:00pm). Family and friends are invited to gather and share memories in honor of her remarkable life.
