Karl Fugitt

FUGITT

Karl was born on January 30th, 1933 to Ruth and George Fugitt in Portsmouth Ohio. He graduated from Portsmouth High School, then served in the Air Force from 1951-1954. He taught in the Fairfield schools from 1963 – 1989. Karl was a member of the Laurel Avenue Church of Christ.

He is preceded in death by his wife Katherine and son Greg. Karl is survived by his sons Gary Fugitt of Richmond, Virginia and Garl Fugitt of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He has 5 grandchildren, Kristin, Allysson, Curtis, Natalie and Luke.

The memorial service will be deferred until spring so the service can be attended by his great granddaughter Eleanor Leann Monroe who is due in February. Memorial honorariums may be sent to Mid-Western Children’s Home www.mid-western.org
