Kathleen (Kathy), age 80 of Hamilton went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday April 23, 2012. She was born in Hamilton, OH on October 4, 1931, the daughter of Wayne and Ruby (Halcomb) Reynolds. Kathy was a 1949 graduate of Hamilton High School and a 1954 graduate of Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, IL. Upon Graduation from Moody, she accepted a position as Church Secretary/Youth Director at the Scranton Road Baptist Church in Cleveland, OH; she held this position until August, 1958. She then returned home to Hamilton to be the Church Secretary/Administrative Assistant at First Baptist Church where she faithfully served God and her beloved congregation until her retirement in 1996. She was also very instrumental in working with the children and youth of the church. Kathy made many close friends through her involvement in women's bible study groups. She was also accomplished in embroidery and stitchery, creating many beautiful quilts which she gifted to family and friends.

Kathy is survived by her sisters, Thelma (Robert) Stanger and Carol (Ed) Dawson; eight beloved nieces and nephews, Valerie Ashcraft, Robert (Linda)Stanger, Susan (David)Zeek, Leigh (Terry) Gribble, Michael (Lisa) Stanger, Kristin (Chuck) Fryer, Scott (Kristin) Dawson, and David Dawson. She is also survived by seventeen great nieces and nephews; four great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her niece, Kelly Kathleen Stanger.

Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church, 1501 Pyramid Hill Blvd., Hamilton, OH 45013, Thursday April 26, 2012 from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m., Dr. Dennis Metzger officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. The Avance Funeral Home and Crematory serving the family. Memorial contributions may be given to First Baptist Church.
