Kathryn Elizabeth (Bear) Fredley

Kathryn Elizabeth Fredley (Bear) – Age 96 of Fairfield, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023.  She was born June 16, 1927 in Curtisville, Pennsylvania to the late Harry and Josephine Bear (Seitz).  She was a member of Valley Chapel Community Church.  Kathryn is survived by her children Abby (Jim) Summerfield, Cameron (Trinity) Fredley and Jorene (Bill) Planzer; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.  She is preceded in death by her husband Elmer Fredley, daughter Melinda Fredley and grandson Marc Summerfield.  A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 10AM – 12PM at Valley Chapel Community Church, 6369 Dixie Hwy, Fairfield, OH, 45014 with Pastor Michael Roe officiating.  Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Humane Society.  Online condolences may be left for the family by visiting www.avancefuneralhome.com
