Kelley Lynn Brown

Kelley Lynn (nee McGuire) Brown age 56, passed away on Friday July 18th, 2025. Kelley is survived by her children Adam Brown and Edie McClung (Grace), her siblings Bill McGuire (Ceci), Teresa Novitski (Dave) and Christy Visser (Hans), her father Bernie McGuire (Sue), and nieces and nephews Madeleine McGuire, Anna Novitski, Oscar Visser, and Nynke Visser, her grand dog Nate McClung, and many other friends, family, and friends who became family. She is preceded in death by her mother Elaine (nee Carmichael) McGuire who is joyfully welcoming her arrival into the afterlife.

Our hearts are broken as we say goodbye to Kelley, who brought so much light and laughter to everyone she met. We knew her as a daughter, sister, mother, classmate, coworker, and most of all as a friend. After graduating from Forest Park High School in 1987, Kelley found her place in business, where she was known as the vibrant one who turned coworkers into true friends. Customer and client facing throughout her varied career, most significantly at the McGuire Agency of Farmers Insurance in Fairfield for 15 years, she was committed to getting you what you needed and did it with joy. She always had a smile ready and had a way of making everyone feel special. Kelley was one of those rare people who could find something good in any situation, even during her battle with cancer when she would bravely reassure her worried family during her good days, putting their hearts at ease despite her own struggles. Whether she was working with kids, adults or seniors, as a surrogate mother, confidant and chaperone or just hanging out, her quirky humor and kind heart made everyone around her feel better. Being a mom was her greatest joy, and she poured all her love into it. She built an amazing circle of friends who stuck with her through thick and thin, drawn to her sweet and loving nature. While we are intensely saddened by her passing, and will miss her deeply, there is peace in knowing she is no longer in pain.

Visitation will be held on Thursday July 24th from 4:30 - 5:30pm with a Celebration of Life to follow at 5:30pm at Avance Funeral Home 4976 Winton Rd, Fairfield, Ohio 45014. Friends and Family are invited to share a special memory about Kelley during the Celebration of Life. In keeping with Kelley's personality, we ask you to attend in cheerful attire.
