Age 82 of Hamilton, passed away September 24, 2011. She was born in Hamilton, OH on November 1, 1928, she was the daughter of August and Marie (nee Schulten) Holstein.
A member of St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, and the Sterling Silvers. She was employed as a Merchandiser with the American Greeting Company for 15 years until her retirement in 2004. On September 16, 1948 in Hamilton, OH she married Dale Chapin and he preceded her in death June 21, 2003. She is survived by three daughters, Cindy (Bill) Green of Hamilton, Darlene (Steve) Ballard of Virginia Beach, VA, Jeanine (Ron) Shouse of Bethel, OH; and one son, Timothy (Susan) Chapin of Liberty Township. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Dick and Jim Holstein.
Services will be held at Avance Funeral Home & Crematory on September 28, 2011 at 11:00. Visitation will be held September 28, 2011 10 to 11 am. Memorial contribution may be given to Hospice of Hamilton 1010 Eaton Ave, Hamilton OH 45013. Condolences may be given at www.avancefuneralhome.com
