Laverne H. (Haney) Gerth

LaVerne Gerth, born October 5, 1933 went home to be with her Lord on June 3, 2015. She is the loving wife to Ron; loving mother of Greg (Linda) and Brad (Karen); devoted grandmother of Michelle Wright (James) and Robert (Christine); dear great grandmother of Adam, Isaac, Rebekah, and Chelsea. LaVerne is preceded in death by her parents, Geneva and Denver; brother Bert; and sister Hilda. She is also survived by her brother Kline and sister Virginia. LaVerne retired from Ross High School after 23 years of service as a para professional. The family would like to thank Westover Retirement Community and Crossroads Hospice for the wonderful and compassionate care they provided. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 8th, at 10:00 a.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory 4976 Winton Road Fairfield, Ohio 45014. Visitation will be Sunday, June 7th, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Burial will follow the service at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Covington, Kentucky.
