Lee Jacob – age 31 of Fairfield passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015. He was born July 9, 1984 in Cincinnati to Robert Clapper and the late Gwyn Joy (nee Schlafly). Lee was a 2003 graduate of Lakota High School, a member of the Washington F&AM Lodge No. 17, and enjoyed listening to and composing music. He was a gifted drummer and was a member of his high school marching band, the Miami University Marching Band, and a member of the Blue Notes Drum Corps of Canton, OH. He is survived by his father, Robert Clapper; fiancé Diane Jones of Columbus; grandmother Wanda Schlafly of New Philladelphia, OH and half-sister Karla Joy. He is preceded in death by his mother, Gwyn Joy; step-father Timothy Joy; grandparents Wilbur and Mildred Clapper and grandfather Warren Schlafly. Funeral service will be held Sunday, November 1, 2015 at 5PM at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, 45014 with visitation from 3PM until time of Masonic service beginning at 430PM.
