MARTIN Lela Evelyn, age 87, of Hamilton passed away on March 3, 2014 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born on June 2, 1926 in Corbin, Kentucky to Rufus C. and Ida (nee Hackworth) Parsons. Evelyn is survived by her sons, Carl D. Martin of Montgomery, Texas and Rufus G. Martin of Oceanside, California; seven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; her brother, Billy Ray Parsons and his wife Marylou; brother in law, Paul Grimes; many loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; 5 brothers, Carl, Glenn, Clarence, Jack, and Harold Parsons; 3 sisters, Lucy Hopkins, Jean Grimes, and Allie Lawson. Visitation will be Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 12-2 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, Ohio 45014. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Tim White officiating. Visitation will be at 12-1 p.m. at the Corbin Funeral Home, Friday March 7, 2014.
