Linda graduated from Fairfield High School in 1964 and married her High School sweetheart, Jerry Oberdorf on June 25, 1965 at Lindenwald United Methodist Church and started their family. She worked for many years at Marilyn's on Main and before retiring. Linda then went on to lovingly prepare meals for the children of Jelly Bean Junction in Fairfield, Ohio. Linda had a passion for service and hospitality, preparing many meals for vacation bible school and her church family.

Holidays; especially Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas brought out the best in Linda as she was an excellent cook and delighted in preparing meals and treats for family and friends. She possessed the gift of hospitality to everyone she met welcoming everyone into her home. Linda enjoyed and was delighted by her grandchildren. She always looked forward to attending sporting events; dance recitals; and other events in which they participated. Most weekends she could be found at a sporting event cheering them on with homemade snacks and love. Linda also looked forward to yearly cruises with her very close friends.

Family vacations, especially to New Smyrna Beach, Florida were also a very favorite time in her life. She loved sitting on the beach and enjoyed the sunshine with family and friends.
