Linda Sue Goodwin

Linda Sue (Weiser) Goodwin of Hamilton went to be with Jesus on Tuesday October 13, 2026. She was born in Kenton, Ohio, to James and Elizabeth Weiser in 1943.

Linda was a beloved wife for 48 and a half years to Donnie F. Goodwin and devoted mother of Todd (Leah) Goodwin, Tara Williams, Tom Goodwin, Trent (Pam) Goodwin, and the baby. She proudly was a grandma of 20 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Linda was the big sister to many but lovingly only to Denny (Susie) Weiser and Russ (Judy) Weiser. “Aunt Linda” to many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, son, Tom, the baby, parents, and brother, Russ.

Linda has been a member of Fairfield Church of Nazarene since 1968 and loved to share about her Jesus. She served on several boards, committees, mission trips, and more, but always focused on her ministry to help people know or grow deeper in their Christ-filled purpose. She was never short on words to share her story, words of encouragement, or disappointment through the looking glass of her Jesus. This was even evident in the last two words she spoke, “Yes, Jesus,” as He took her home unexpectedly. Her space will be hard to fill here, but we are looking forward to spending eternity together.

Visitation will be on Monday October 19, 2026, from 12:00pm until the time of service (2:00pm) at Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd. Fairfield, OH 45014. Burial will be held on Tuesday October 20, 2026, at York Center Cemetery, West Mansfield, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Fairfield Church of the Nazarene, 12190 E.
