Linda Sue (Leas) Tucker

January 5, 1949 — February 20, 2022

Fairfield - Linda Sue (Leas) Tucker, beloved wife of 50 years to Art Tucker passed away on Sunday February 20th, 2022 at the age of 73.  Devoted mother of Jason (Suzy) Tucker and Kara (Pierson) Wetzel.  Loving grandmother to Emma Tucker, Owen Tucker, Felix Wetzel, and Pieter Wetzel.  Also survived by her sister, Pam Severt, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces.   Preceded in death by her brother Bob (Sue) Leas and sister Nancy (Ron) Santoro.

Linda was born in Akron, Ohio and was a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School.   After high school, she attended Akron School of Practical Nursing, then Miami University, and afterwards earned her RN license.  During her nursing career, she worked at several doctor's offices and on a part-time basis at Mercy Hospital in Fairfield.  Once her children were born, she dedicated herself to being a loving and caring stay-at-home mother.  Linda also enjoyed gardening and bird watching and was a faithful member of Covenant Community Church.

Visitation and memorial service on Saturday, February 26th, 11 am, at Covenant Community Church 2860 Mack Road Fairfield, OH 45014.  A light lunch will be served following the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Youth Activities Fund at Covenant Community Church.
