She served on various Credit Union boards and as a liaison in several instances for mergers. She also volunteered as a basketball referee with the Butler County Special Olympics. Other outlets of her unbounded energy was helping her neighbors and friends; edging their lawns, delivering their paper and just helping out when needed. She was the day to day caregiver for her brother Russell for the last several years, and made a place for him in her home since 2021. Grandchildren Geoffery (Rebecca) Mahlerwein, Evelynne and Madeleine Mahlerwein, Vincent, Abigail and Michelle Bulach, four great-grandchildren, her brother Russell Easter and nephew Dennis (Kim) Easter and their children Hannah and Benjamin and her cousin Doug (Jana) Corbin.
