Magdalene M. (Hoskins) Thacker

Age 90 of Hamilton passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Hospice of Hamilton.  She was born May 12, 1924 in Hazard, KY, the daughter of Floyd and Alta Hoskins.  She was a devout member of the Church of Christ, most recently at West Side Church of Christ in Hamilton.  Mag worked and retired from the Butler County Juvenile Center.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Ms. Thacker leaves to cherish her memory, children, Michael (Debbie) Thacker and Charlotte (Jerry) Watson; grandchildren, Kelli (Mark) Provart, Mike (Ashley) Thacker, Amanda (Ricky) Lux, Chelsea Watson; and great-grandchildren, Rylie and Jackson Lux, and Zachery and Sophia Provart.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mildred Wiersing; brother, Jack Hoskins; and husband of 65 years William “Bill” Thacker.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. William Krall and staff at his practice and Hospice of Hamilton, for all of their love, care and concern.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. – until time of service (12 Noon), Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the  Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Road, Fairfield, OH   45014, with Dave Hargrave and Dan Knisley officiating.  Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.   Memorials may be made to Hospice of Hamilton.  Condolences may be offered to the family at www.avancefuneralhome.com
