CARTWRIGHT
Malcolm F., age 85. Malcolm F. Cartwright passed away on October 30, 2011 at Hospice of Cincinnati.
He was the beloved husband of the late Carole (nee Stringfield); dear father of Frank (Karen) Cartwright, and Nancy Fleming; grandfather of Sarah Fleming and Stephen Fleming; great grandfather of Tyler; brother of Lowell (Catherine) Cartwright.
Malcolm was born in Rising Sun, Indiana to Malcolm and Clara (nee Otto) Cartwright on January 2, 1926.
A career Commissioned Officer in the Army, he served in WWII and Korea and retired with more than 20 years of active service as a Major.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother and sister in law, Robert and Anita Cartwright.
Inurnment with full military honors will be Friday November 18, 2011, 2 p.m. at Dayton National Cemetery, 4100 West 3rd St. Dayton OH 45248. (937-262-2115) Meet the family (Nancy and Frank) at the administration building. The family requests no flowers.
