SCHRAND, Marcella “Micki”

Marcella Schrand “Micki” age 96, of Fairfield passed away peacefully, July 28,2021. She was the loving wife of the late William Schrand, Sr. for 68 years. She was the devoted mother of William Schrand Jr., Kenneth (Judy) Schrand, Richard (Diane) Schrand, Judy (Jeff) Lawrence, Mark (Carmen) Schrand, Don (Nancy) Schrand; cherished Grandmother to 14 Grandkids and 20 Great Grandchildren!

She was a dedicated housewife, until the kids were grown and then worked as a receptionist for a doctors’ office. After retirement, Micki volunteered at Mercy Hospital.  Ms. Schrand was a devoted caregiver to her husband, Bill for many years while he was ill, and they were inseparable, until Bill’s death in 2014.

The family will receive friends 3p.m. - 5 p.m., on Sunday August 1, 2021, at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH   45014.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Monday August 2, 2021, at Sacred Heart Church, 400 Nilles Rd., Fairfield OH, with Father Larry Tharp, Celebrant.  Entombment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, P.O.
