Margaret L. Capshaw
October 26, 1922 — July 9, 2006
Age 83, passed away July 9, 2006 at Hawthorn Glen Nursing Home, Hamilton, Ohio. She was born October 26, 1922 to Charles and Nancy Vermilyer in LaPorte, Indiana. She was married in August 1949 to O.W. Capshaw who survives along with a daughter, Sandy Ricker of Fairfield, Ohio and a son, David Zeitz of Denver, Colorado.
She also leaves four grandchildren, Brian Ricker, Mason, Ohio, Jay Ricker, Cincinnati, Ohio, Karlton (Emerald) Zeitz, Denver, Colorado, Kerri Ricker, Trenton, Ohio, and one great grandchild, Alexandra Zeitz. She is also survived by two sisters, Florence Swanson, Michigan City, IN and Bessie Reeder, LaPorte, IN, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by son, Bill Zeitz, four brothers, four sisters, a great granddaughter and a son-in-law.
Margaret was a member of Millville Avenue Church of God. For over 30 years she was active in the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliaries.
The family would like to thank the staff at Hawthorn Glenn and Vitas Hospice (especially Susan), and a very special thank you to her church family for their support and prayers through her illness. Donations may be given to Vitas Hospice.
