JONES, Margaret “Peggy” (nee Smuts)
Age 65 of Hamilton, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born October 19, 1949 in Akron, OH, the daughter of Charles and Marjory (Nevling) Smuts. On September 24, 1988 Peggy married James A. Jones in Cincinnati. She worked in the Occupational Therapy Department at the Atrium Medical Center, (certified in Lymphedema therapy and LANA), where she developed countless friendships with her patients and co-workers. Peggy will be sadly missed!
She leaves behind her husband James “Jim” Jones; brothers, Dr. Charles (Cindy) Smuts and Dr. Robert (Karla Bella) Smuts; nephew, Robert E. Bella Smuts; and nieces, Mylane Bella Smuts, Cara (Dan) Rudolph, and Jen (Wade) Hoffman. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Louise.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. – until time of service (7:30 p.m.), Friday, September 18, 2015 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014.
