Margaret "Christine" (Gore) Kiessling

KIESSLING
Margaret “Christine”, age 82, most recently of West Chester passed away on March 7, 2017 at home. She was born on October 3, 1934 in Mullens, WV to the late Bernard and Agnes (nee Spradling) Gore.
In 1952, she graduated from High School at St Camillus Academy in Corbin, KY, which was run by the Sisters of Divine Providence. In 1954 in Huntington, WV she married Francis Kiessling, he preceded her in death in 2012.
Christine is survived by her devoted daughter and son in law, Karen (Steve Kolde) Koss; grandchildren, Michael (Sarah) Koss, Andrew (Barbi) Koss, Teresa (Mark) Knapke, and Sgt. Patrick Kiessling; great grandchildren, Maria, Rebekah, Elijah, Evan, Laura, Grant, Stephen, Matthew, and Jessica. She is also survived by her sisters, Helen Zachwieja, Catherine Gore, and Doris Humphrey; other family members and friends. Christine is preceded in death by her son Michael (1991); parents; husband; and sisters, Mary Thomas and Elizabeth Newton.
Christine became a Registered Nurse in 1978. She was last employed at the VA Medical Center in Indianapolis and taught practical nursing at Ivy Tech.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Parish, 11144 Spinner Ave., Sharonville, OH 45241 on March 25, 2017 at 10 a.m. with Father Tom DiFolco officiating.
