Margaret "Peggy" C (Tuley) Wooten

Margaret C Wooten (Peggy) nee Tuley age 92 of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away peacefully at Hospice of Hamilton on June 1, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilmer Douglas Wooten, her mother Margaret Smith, her father Allen Tuley, two sisters Joan (Jack) Martel and Agnes (Earl) Hillman. She is survived by her son Douglas (Pam) Wooten and daughter April Wooten McKee, three grandchildren, Brian (Sarah) Wooten, Sarah Mckee and Kristi (Kyle) Hodges. Three great grandchildren, Davis Wooten, Harper and Hannah Hodges, and several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.  Peggy worked many jobs through her lifetime, but her favorite was at Badin High School where she worked in the school cafeteria as a dishwasher. She began working there when the first grandchild started high school. She lived for Jesus Christ our Lord and spending time with her family and friends. She helped take care of her grandchildren from birth through their school years. Special thanks to the staff and volunteers at Hospice of Hamilton for their compassion and caring during her last days. They made us feel like family while we were there. They are truly angels on earth. Final viewing and eulogies at Avance Funeral Home are Monday, June 10, 2024, promptly at 8:45 AM. Mass of Christian burial at St Julie Billiart Parish, 10:00 AM, 224 Dayton St., Hamilton, OH 45011. Burial to follow at St Mary’s Cemetery.  Visitation is Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 3 PM to 6 PM at Avance Funeral Home 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014.
