Marianna (Miller) Eifert

November 4, 1935 — January 30, 2022

Marianna M. Eifert, 86, of Fairfield, Ohio died peacefully on Sunday night, January 30, 2022 at Gateway Springs Health Campus in Fairfield Twp., Ohio.  Her health had been failing and the Lord called her home.

She was born November 4, 1935 in Miami, Florida the daughter of Richard P. and Mary (Hannan) Miller.

On July 23rd, 1955, in Springfield, Ohio, she married John Eifert who passed in 2001.

Mrs. Eifert was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and spent most of her life taking care of her family.  She was a 1953 graduate of Catholic Central High School, Springfield, Ohio.

Jack and Marianna moved from Springfield to Indian Lake near Huntsville, Ohio in 1974.  After Jack’s death, Marianna lived near her children in Ohio, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Michigan before returning to Ohio in 2018.

Marianna is survived by a daughter, Kathryn A. (Robert) Groves of Leander, TX; two sons, John R. Jr (Karen) Eifert of Hamilton, Ohio; Kenneth M. (Karen) Eifert of Troy, Alabama.  Daughter Karen M. Coffee passed in 2006.  Richard P. Jr. (Mary) Miller, her only brother, resides in Lakeland, FL.

Marianna was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  They are scattered around the country from Tucson, Arizona to New Orleans, Louisiana; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Walton, Kentucky; Guelph, Ontario, Canada; Columbus and Newark, Ohio and Leander, Texas.  She also has numerous nieces, nephews and cousins who remember her fondly.

She will be laid to rest this spring with Jack Eifert, Sr., and Karen Coffee at St. Stephen’s Cemetery in Hamilton, Ohio.   A celebration of life will be held at that time.  In lieu of flowers, a donation in her memory to either the American Cancer Society or the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance would be appreciated.
