Marilyn Bacher
November 19, 1922 — February 17, 2008
Age 85, passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2008. She was born November 19, 1922 to Art and Elsie (Vogel) Luechauer of Fairfield. Marilyn lived her whole life on a family owned farm which was established in 1834, on Winton Road. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
She is survived by son, Art Bacher; sisters, Alberta "Bert" Weaver and Soloma Burer; grandson, Blaine Bacher (wife) Diane; three great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Sydney, and Taylor Bacher; nieces, Nancy Wenning, Amy Wenning and Linda Minor and nephew, Tom Burer;. Marilyn also leaves close friends, Doris Johnson, Betty Miller, Gloria Harris, and Julie Calloway. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Bacher; and both parents.
The family will receive friends from 10 am - until time of funeral services (12 noon), Friday, February 22, 2008 with Rev. Tim Swanson officiating, at The Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd, Fairfield. Private Graveside services will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
