Dowd, Marion Caroline, age 73, of Hamilton died on August 23, 2007 at her residence. She was born July 8, 1934 in Franklin Co., IN to Raymond and Ruth (Imhoff) Smith. She graduated from Reily High School and attended Wilmington College. She taught piano, organ and keyboard lessons for 45 years. She was a member of the Church of
God - PKG, based in Union, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Paul and Merle Smith and sister; Wilma Smith. Mary is survived by her husband, Ralph Dowd, sons; Richard (Melinda) and David (Charlotte) both of Hamilton, OH; Daniel (Roxanne) of West Bend, WI; Jeffrey (Kerri) of Renton, WA; and Edward (RaeAnn) of Queen Creek, AZ; 11 grand-children and 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Melvin Smith of Hamilton, OH; Charles (Delores) Smith of Bradenton, FL; Dale (Janice) Smith of Gas City, IN; and sister, Janet (Larry) Rohling of Lawrenceburg, IN.
