Maritta E. (Feth) Weidmann
March 19, 1930 — January 17, 2016
Maritta E. (Feth) Weidmann, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2016. She was 85 years old. After graduating nursing school in Germany, Maritta moved to New York City, and would eventually meet her husband Herbert Weidmann who preceded her in death in 1975. The couple settled in Cincinnati, Ohio and owned and operated restaurants together, including the Sunset Inn (Harrison, Ohio) and the Dutch Door (Northside Cincinnati). Maritta is survived by her two children, Penny (Robert) Russell and Linda (Reid) Lee. Her legacy continues with her 5 grandchildren, Brittany (Nick) Punches, Daniel Russell, Molly Murrison, Gunner and Faith Lee; and 2 great-grandchildren, Audrey and Edith Punches. Memorial service will be held Saturday January 30th 9 AM at the Arlington Memorial Gardens’ Chapel, 2145 Compton Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45231.
