Marsha L. – age 42 of Springfield Township, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2014 at University Hospital Cincinnati . She was born May 28, 1972 in Cincinnati , Ohio to the late Barbara and Arthur Houston Sr. Marsha was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati earning her bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. On August 31, 2005 she married her husband, Roosevelt Nixon. She was employed at Cincinnati Financial. Marsha loved her family first and foremost. Her family was her life and was the most important part of who Marsha was. She truly will be missed. In memory of Marsha, an obsessive Michigan fan and an avid sports fan, the family requests you wear your favorite sports attire to her services.
She is survived by her husband, Roosevelt Nixon; her children Malachi, Maya Rose, Noah, Elijah and Olivia; granddaughter Aaliyah; her brothers Larry (Ruth) Houston and Arthur (Cindy) Houston Jr.; her “sister” Annette Valentino; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 9-11AM at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd. , Fairfield 45014 with service beginning at 11AM .
