Martha P. Ealy

Martha "Marthy" Ealy, of Fairfield, passed away Tuesday, December 28th, 2004 in the company of her loving family at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. Martha, the daughter of Tole and Mae (Hacker) Bowling, was born November 28, 1934 in Manchester, Kentucky. She and Carl "Bogie" Ealy were forever married on May 23, 1953 in their hometown of Manchester. Martha, a devoted employee, was employed by Ohio Casualty Insurance Company for 40 years until her retirement in 1991. She was a member of the Ohio Eastern Star (Hall of Washington Chapter, No. 195) and proud to be a Kentucky Colonel.

She is survived by her devoted husband Carl Ealy; daughter, Carla (Mike) Story; brothers, Douglas (Rosemary) Garrison, Henry (Kathy) Garrison, and Randall (Joyce) Garrison; sisters, Lorene (Willie) Sizemore, Corene (John) Wolfe, Lois (Enoch) Lee, Jeanette Moore and Mary Saylor; grandchildren/"pride and joy", Craig and Kelly Erickson and great grandchild, Aiden Campbell; and many other friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Robert Bowling.

Martha was a selfless giving person of strong fortitude, happy with the simple pleasures in life... to love and be loved by family and friends. She will be missed and forever remembered.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday January 3, 2005, with funeral services immediately following, at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield.
