Martin J. Wagner
January 14, 1912 — February 27, 2005
Martin John "Bud" Wagner, age 93 of passed away Sunday February 27, 2005. He was currently a resident of Northgate Retirement Community (Atria) in Grosbeck for many years and will be missed by his friends and staff there. He bravely served as a Cincinnati Firefighter for 27 years and retired as a Cincinnati Fire Marshall. During his retirement he worked as a Cincinnati Building Inspector as well as a Colerain School Bus Driver. Bud was an avid carpenter in his younger years, building his own home, as well as, his brothers' and daughters' houses.
He will be sadly missed by his sons, Mart (Marlene) Wagner, Gary (Jo Ann) Wagner; and daughters, Sandy (Donald) Campbell and Pam (Steve) Sprague; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Bonnie; brother, August; sister, Lillian; and granddaughter, Lisa Wagner.
Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m., Wednesday March 2, 2005 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens. Visitation will also be Wednesday from 10 a.m. - until time of service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Oxford Senior Citizens Center, 912 Tollgate Dr., Oxford, OH 45056.
