Mary (Brown) Brace Randolph

August 17, 1929 — June 12, 2024

Mary Brace Randolph, beloved grandmother, mother, wife, sister, and friend, peacefully passed away in St. Louis on June 12, 2024 at the age of 94. She was born on August 17, 1929, in Eubanks, Kentucky in which she began a life that was defined by love and dedicated service to her family and community. Mary spent 40 years in the Los Angeles, California area (spending many of those years beating men at golf), where she made her mark both professionally and personally. She excelled as a methods engineer for RCA and later found fulfillment as a special education teacher at LA Unified School District and eventually settled down in Fairfield, Ohio. Her commitment extended beyond her career, as she dedicated much of her time to volunteering and active participation in Fairfield First Baptist Church, embodying a spirit of generosity and selflessness. Mary's greatest joy came from being a devoted mother and grandmother, cherishing moments with her family, sharing stories, and consistently offering guidance, support, and encouragement through every challenge they encountered. Mary is survived by her grandchildren Christopher Scott and Natalie (Josh) Jenkins and her great grandchildren Xavier and Delilah Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her late husband Robin Randolph, former spouse William Brace, daughters Connie Carter (Randolph) and Janice Pilot (Randolph), father and mother Walter and Minnie Brown (Whitis), brothers George, Jimmy, Roscoe and Virgil and sisters Lottie Mae and Ethel. Mary Brace Randolph's memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her, as she leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and profound impact on her community and family. She will be dearly missed. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2024 from 10AM until time of service (12 Noon) at Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH, 45014.  Burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Huntington Disease Society of America.
