Mary L. (Gardner) Cecere

Mary L. (Gardner) Cecere went home to be with the Lord on January 5, 2017 at the age of 92.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, James A. Cecere; her sisters Joan Bauer and Helen Makdad.  Mary is survived by her son James A. Cecere II (Jacqueline); her grandchildren Sarah, James III (Jenny), John (Amber), Simon (Heather), Siana and Judah; eight great-grandchildren; her sister Ruth Bishop and the rest of her loving family and friends.  Mary lived most of her life in the city of Hamilton, graduating from Hamilton High School in June of 1942.  She worked alongside her husband  at Jim Cecere Shell Station and Cecere Realty.  She enjoyed golfing, gardening, cooking , sewing, crocheting and quilting.  A memorial service will be held Friday, January 13, 2016 at 1PM at First Baptist Church of Hamilton, 1501 Pyramid Hill Blvd., Hamilton, OH, 45013 at 1PM.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the First Baptist Church Deacons Fund which benefits local families in need.
