Mary Cecelia Hampton

Mary C. Hampton, age 87 of Fairfield passed away Thursday December 1, 2005 at Vitas Hospice - Ft. Hamilton. She was born September 12, 1918 in Harrison, IN, the daughter of Edward and Mamie (Richardson) Schwing. On September 28, 1940 Mary married A.B. Hampton in Harrison, OH. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She is survived by son, Gary Curtis (Cathleen) Hampton of Watertown, CT; daughter, Rita (Myrl) Lindsay; grandchildren, Rob (Kathy) Lindsay, Diane Lindsay, Mary (Bill) Robbers, Heather (Don) Ashley, Krista Hampton, and Gary Curtis Hampton, II; great-grandchildren, Robert Lee (Dot) Jones, Kate Lindsay, Rachael Lindsay, Dean Robbers, Troy Robbers, Hayden Ashley and Ella Ashley; great-great grandchild, Kyleigh Jones; and step-sister, Christina Benedict. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 2 sisters; and 1 brother.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday December 3, 2005 at Sacred Heart Church, 400 Nilles Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014 with Father Norman Langenbrunner, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will also be Saturday from 9 - 10:15 a.m., at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield.
