Mary Lou Kuhl

Mary Lou Kuhl, age 77, passed away at home on Sunday, September 5, 2004. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio, on January 30, 1927 to Charles E. and Mary (Menchen) Taylor. She was educated at St. Veronica and graduated from Notre Dame High School. She was united in marriage to Cyril H. Kuhl, in Hamilton, Ohio.

She is survived by her husband, Cy; son, Kevin (Darlene); daughter Cyrilla (Bill) Smith; son Jeff; daughter-in-law Terry; six grandchildren Stacey Kuhl, Bryan Smith, Shannon (Tim) Nieman, Missy Kuhl, Andy Smith and Brendan Kuhl. Her son Ralph, brother Bill Taylor and parents Mary Dexter and Charles Taylor, preceded her in death.

Mary Lou leaves a legacy of love. She will be fondly remembered for her gifts of gardening, crocheting and volunteer work, sharing Cinders, her companion dog, with nursing home residents. She was also a charter member of Sacred Heart parish in Fairfield.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10 A.M. Wednesday, September 8 at Sacred Heart Church, 400 Nilles Road, Fairfield, Ohio with Father Norman Langenbrunner officiating. Entombment in St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 7 at Avance Funeral Home, 4976 Winton Road, Fairfield.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Heartland Hospice Services, 2300 Wall Street, Suite O, Cincinnati, Ohio 45212. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Hospice, especially Kim Bascom, for their wonderful care and support. The family will accept condolences at www.avancefuneralhome.com.
