Came into this world in Brooklyn, NY, on May 6, 1938 to the proud parents of Louis and Mary (Krawcion) Lotito. She departed this world on June 6, 2009 to join the ranks of angels, family, and friends. On April 4, 1959 Mary wed Richard Lagemann, whom she now embraces again after he took his journey to Heaven on September 15, 1977.
Mary was an enthusiastic and optimistic person who cared for many families in her career. She was a RN at Ft. Hamilton Hospital in Labor and Delivery. Furthermore she was a devout parishioner at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, serving in the Sacred Heart Choir for 33 years. Other memberships and interest included: Former Girl Scout leader; Past President of the Fairfield Tempo Club; member of the Red Hat Society; knitting and crocheting.
She leaves behind her children, Pete (Deanna) Lagemann, Dan (Kim) Lagemann, Steve (Arlina) Lagemann, Jean Stoner, and Judy (Pat) Good; 10 grandchildren, Joshua, Sarah, Jessica, Lauren, Bailey, Reilly Lagemann, Sean Stacy, Chris and Richie Stoner, Samantha Good, with 1 also on the way; and sisters, Eileen Repetti, Rose O'Gorman and Lillian Schragen. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 12, 2009 at the Sacred Heart Church, 400 Nilles Rd., Fairfield with Fr. Larry Tharp, Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Hamilton. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., Thursday, June 11 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield.
