LISET, Mary Louise (nee McGrath), beloved wife of Brigadier General (Ret.) John J. Liset, passed away on January 29, 2006. Mary and John were married for over 61 years. In addition to her husband, Mary leaves behind a son, two daughters and two grandchildren. Mary grew up in Fall River, Massachusetts, attended school there, met John there and embarked with him on a life as a military wife and mother. John's success in the Military and later in GE and her childrens' success in the careers they have pursued are a direct result of the love, support and strength she always provided. Her life in the military was filled with excitement, from Okinawa to Norway, France, Germany and Brazil, with stops in the U.S. They retired from the military and settled in Wildwood of Fairfield, OH. John and Mary recently hit the 31-year mark in Ohio - longer than any other place they have lived. Mary was determined to stay in Ohio, always reflecting on how much she truly loved the people and the place. And they loved her. Mary will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was the epitome of a wonderful lady in all respects.
