PAULLUS, Mary Grace (nee Renners)
Age 88 of Fairfield, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born August 3, 1927 in Hamilton, the daughter of Henry and Anna Marie (Konrad) Renners. On September 6, 1947 Mary married Evan J. Paullus at St. Ann Catholic Church in Hamilton. She worked for the City of Fairfield until her retirement and was a devoted member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. In her later years Mary enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family, friends and spoiling her dogs. Ms. Paullus will always be respected, admired and loved by all… for her “Grace” and class.
She leaves behind her loving family, sons, Stephen (Beverly) Paullus, Kenneth (Vickie) Paullus and Dale Paullus; grandchildren, Angie, Kristen, and Sarah Paullus; great-grandchildren, Evan and Eleanor Means; nephew, James Renners; and nieces, Gayle Korb, Patricia Renners, Barbara Huber, Donna Diewald and Janet Lubbers; and her precious dogs, Abbie and Sully. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband; an infant son; brothers, George, Edwin and LeRoy Renners; sisters, Catherine Issenmann, Loretta Anderson, and Anna Mae Vaughn; and her other Westies, Katie, Kelly and Chase.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. William Krall, staff of his office and Hospice of Hamilton, as well as, her many care-givers.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. – 12 Noon, Thursday, January 21, 2016 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield. Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Thursday 12:30 p.m., at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 400 Nilles Rd., Fairfield with Father Norman Langenbrunner and Father Larry Tharp, Celebrants. Entombment will follow at St. Stephen Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Hamilton and/or Animal Friends Humane Society.
