Mary Ann Cope
March 5, 1960 — December 14, 2009
Age 49 of Fairfield Twp., passed away peacefully with her family by her side on December 14, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born March 5, 1960. On June 28, 1980 Mary Ann married Douglas Cope in Ft. Thomas, KY. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and worked as a RN for 28 years in the Cincinnati area, most recently at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield-Cardiac Cath Lab.
Mary Ann leaves behind her husband of 30 years, Douglas Cope; loving daughters, Lauren and Lindsey; brother-in-law, Gregory Cope; 4 sisters, Melanie, Jane, Myra, and Molly; and 2 brothers, Michael and Mark. Also enjoyed by countless, devoted friends and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Vera (Zerahusen) Kleier.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Sacred Heart Church, 400 Nilles Rd., Fairfield with Father Larry Tharp, Celebrant. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m., Friday at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield.
