Mary Frances “Frankie”, age 85, of Hamilton passed away Wednesday, 4/27/16 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born to the late Alex Wooten, Sr., and Nancy Jane (Holtzclaw) Wooten on October 17, 1930. On 4/29/50, Frankie married the love of her life, John Howell, Jr. Frankie was employed at Champion Paper Company and also worked for the Butler County Common Pleas Courts for Judge Arthur J. Fiehrer. Before final retirement, she worked for the family owned John Howell Realty. Frankie was an avid bowler, golfer and card player. She loved spending time with friends and family. Frankie is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Larry) Wirtley; son, Michael (Tina) Howell; grandchildren, Rachel(Jesse) Funston and Sean Howell; step-grandchildren, Larry Wirtley II and Starla Wirtley; and 8 precious grand-puppies. Frankie was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Howell, Jr.; her parents, Alex and Nancy Jane Wooten; her brother and sister in-law Alex and Opal Wooten; and her sister and brother in-law Betty and Red Hillman. Special thanks to Dr. Reyes, Dr. Lang; Dr. O’Brien and Dr. Hingsbergen along with Hospice of Hamilton. A Gathering of friends and family will be Monday May 2, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014.
