Maryjo (Thompson) Johnson

Maryjo (Thompson) Johnson 1951-2019 Maryjo (Thompson) Johnson passed away peacefully Thursday, July 18, 2019 in her home which she shared with her loving husband and devoted dog. Maryjo was a known therapist who worked with Suicide Prevention helping many through troubled times. She was a strong, generous and loving person and will be sorely missed. Maryjo was the beloved wife of Charles E. “Chuck” Johnson; loving mother of Noel P. (Denise) Johnson, Laura (Ernie) Byrd, Curry (Jim) Smith and Seth C. (Stephanie) Johnson; loving grandmother of Avery Smith, Mason, Henry, Charlotte, Zoey and Willow Johnson; sister to Beth Gubser and Eddie Thompson. Maryjo was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Paul Thompson and Mary Ann Randall, brothers, Joseph “Joey” Thompson and Tildon Thompson, sister, Sue Moers.

All are welcomed to join the family for Service and Celebration of Life at First Lutheran Church, 1208 Race St., Cincinnati, Oh 45202. July 27, 2019 10:30 am -11:00 am. gathering of sorrows, 11:00 am – Service and Celebration of Life immediately after. Lunch will be provided. Memorial contributions may be offered to the church.
